We are seeking a strategic, commercially driven Account Director to lead and scale our Finance & Accounting Outsourcing (FAO) vertical. This is a senior leadership, client-facing role responsible for overseeing large-scale offshore operations, strengthening executive client relationships, and driving sustainable growth across a portfolio of US and Australian clients.
As the Finance & Accounting Operations Director, you will own the end-to-end client lifecycle—from presales and transition through steady-state delivery—ensuring engagements are profitable, scalable, and positioned for expansion. You will lead a 200+ headcount organization, partnering closely with presales, solutions, and talent teams to build a high-performing, growth-focused FAO vertical.
This role requires deep expertise across AR, AP, GL, reporting, and audit, combined with strong commercial acumen, P&L ownership, and executive stakeholder management.
Role: Finance & Accounting Operations Director
Location: BGC, Taguig City / Ortigas, Pasig City
Experience: 12–15 years in FAO, with 5+ years in senior leadership managing 200+ headcount
Education: Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field (MBA preferred)
Serve as the primary executive point of contact for C-suite and VP-level stakeholders
Build and maintain long-term, trusted client relationships across US and AU markets
Identify and drive organic growth opportunities (scope expansion, new services)
Partner with leadership on vertical strategy and go-to-market initiatives
Own end-to-end FAO delivery (AR, AP, GL, reporting, audit) with full accountability for SLA, quality, and client satisfaction
Oversee operations across billing, audit intake, collections, CRM, payment posting, and customer support
Monitor dashboards, work queues, and financial reports to identify risks and performance gaps
Drive resolution of audit issues, denials, AR risks, and escalations
Ensure SLA adherence, productivity, quality, and compliance standards
Own account P&L, margin performance, and financial targets
Interpret AR metrics, aging, collections trends, and operational data to drive decisions
Translate insights into actionable plans and stakeholder updates
Lead end-to-end client onboarding and transitions, including process mapping, KT, and go-live
Drive process improvements, automation, and efficiency initiatives
Ensure HIPAA and PHI compliance in all operations
Partner with Audit, Billing, Coding, Collections, Finance, CRM, and Customer Support teams
Ensure accurate documentation and tracking in HubSpot and reporting systems
Manage escalations with clear ownership, timelines, and resolution plans
Lead, develop, and scale a 200+ headcount organization
Build high-performance culture, succession plans, and career pathways
Define and track KPIs, operational metrics, and performance outcomes
Support RFPs, solution design, pricing, and client presentations
Provide operational expertise in sales pursuits and client discussions
Strengthen delivery credibility in commercial engagements
12–15 years in Finance & Accounting Outsourcing (FAO)
Proven leadership of large offshore teams (200+ headcount)
Strong expertise in AR, AP, GL, reporting, and audit operations
Deep understanding of AR metrics (aging, write-offs, collections, adjustments)
Experience supporting US/AU clients with knowledge of GAAP/IFRS, IRS, ATO frameworks
Strong P&L management and commercial acumen
Experience in CRM systems (HubSpot preferred) and data-driven reporting
Demonstrated success in client relationship management at C-suite level
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Proven transition management and large-scale onboarding experience
Experience in presales, RFPs, and solutioning
Excellent communication and executive presence
Amenable to work onsite either in BGC, Taguig or Ortigas, Pasig City
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (required)
MBA or postgraduate qualification (preferred)
Equivalent senior FAO leadership experience may be considered
Lead a high-impact, high-visibility FAO vertical
Work with global clients across US and Australia
