Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking a Field Technical Staff to deploy, install, and provide on-site IT support for biometric and time & attendance devices at client sites. You will hands-on set up equipment, troubleshoot, and document deployment details to ensure reliable operations.

Candidates should have a BS in Electronics/Information Technology/Computer Science, 1–3 years in IT support or device installation, and familiarity with LAN/VPN, AnyDesk or TeamViewer.

Qualifications

• BS degree or equivalent in electronics/IT/computer science
• 1–3 years hands-on IT support or device deployment
• Proficient with LAN/VPN, routers/switches basics
• Hands-on with electronics, wiring, power supplies, hardware repairs
• Familiar with remote support tools (AnyDesk/TeamViewer)

Responsibilities

• Set up biometric and time & attendance devices at client sites

About the role

Field Technical Staff act as the company's frontline for device deployment, installation, and on-site technical support at client locations. This role focuses on hands-on setup and troubleshooting of biometric and time & attendance devices, field coordination, and ensuring all equipment is properly installed, maintained, and documented.

Key responsibilities

• Set up devices like phones and tablets so they're ready for use and meet client needs

• Troubleshoot problems with devices - whether it's a software glitch or a hardware issue

• Update and maintain a list of devices and where they are being used

• Properly dispose of devices that are no longer needed, following safety and company guidelines

• Keep clear records of how things are done and update processes

• Show teammates or users how to use their devices correctly and safely

• Ensure work follows company policies and tech-related rules or regulations

About you

• Graduate of BS Electronics Engineering, BS Information Technology, BS Computer Science, or any related technical course

• 1-3 years of hands-on experience in IT support, networking, or device installation

• Proficient in networking and basic IT troubleshooting - LAN/VPN, router and switch configuration

• Hands-on experience with electronics, device wiring, power supply troubleshooting, and hardware-level repairs

• Familiar with remote support tools such as AnyDesk or TeamViewer

• Valid driver's license; able to drive a 4-wheel vehicle for independent field deployment

• Self-driven and able to work with minimal supervision

• Trustworthy and responsible

• Adaptable and eager to learn new technologies and systems

• Good communication and problem-solving skills
