Job summary

Draeger Singapore Pte. Ltd. is seeking a maintenance technician to support and maintain safety and protection equipment, manage service orders, and communicate technical information effectively to ensure operational efficiency and safety compliance.

You will perform routine preventive maintenance, handle corrective work, service gas detectors, respond to breakdowns, and coordinate with the Service team and customers to resolve issues and ensure timely equipment turnaround.

Qualifications

• Diploma with 1-3 years’ experience
• OR Higher Nitec in Electrical/Electronic/Process Instrumentation/Mechatronics Engineering with 5-6 years’ experience
• 1-3 years’ technical experience in Oil & Gas, Process industry, or Equipment maintenance
• Experience working with instrumentation equipment

Responsibilities

• Support start-up, contract maintenance, and service activities focused on safety and protection outcomes.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance, log activities, execute corrective maintenance, and carry out warranty repairs to ensure equipment reliability.
• Participate in servicing and repairing gas detectors, responding to emergency breakdowns, and contributing to ad hoc safety projects.
• Manage all service orders efficiently from initiation to fulfillment by coordinating closely with the Service team.
• Liaise with customers, service supervisors, coordinators, and logistics teams to resolve queries, address technical issues, and track delivery status.
• Ensure timely equipment turnaround and breakdown response to maintain optimal operational efficiency.
• Provide support for additional service activities as assigned to meet business needs.
• Communicate technical information accurately and clearly to employees, customers, and external parties through written and verbal channels.
• Participate in Workplace Safety & Health responsibilities and activities as requested by the company.
