Job summary

Towa Semiconductor Equipment Philippines Corp in the Philippines is seeking a capable engineer to drive equipment installation, troubleshooting, and quality improvements across service projects for semiconductor equipment.

You will manage cost control, logistics, procurement, and after-sales support, collaborate with customers and colleagues, and contribute to productivity and automation initiatives while willing to relocate as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/College Degree in Engineering (Mechanical/ Electrical/ ECE) or equivalent.
• 2–3 years of working experience in the related field.
• Open-minded and good team player.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
• Ability to provide solutions to a variety of technical problems independently.
• Strong technical, analytical, and development skills.
• Extensive knowledge on Semiconductor.
• Knowledgeable in mechanical, electrical, electronics, electromechanical, pneumatics, and PLC.

Responsibilities

• Equipment installation.
• Troubleshooting and reporting of action details.
• Solving quality problems and proposing improvements.
• Creation of proposals and execution of raising operation rate.
• Project/cost profit control.
• Formulation and execution and follow-up of productivity enhancement plan.
• Control of the costs of services and parts.
• Control of proposals on the annual budget.
• Formulation and execution of cost, external expenditures, purchased materials, products, affiliate/subcontractor costs, etc.
• Plan to automate/computerize logistic processes.
• Procurement of products.
• Sales support (discussions on specifications, buy-off, presentations).
• Settle technical issues and after-sales follow up.
• Quality improvement.
• Survey technological trends in market and information control.
• Improvement of current products.
• Control of the acquisition of technical information.
• Work related to all logistics including inspection and packing.
• Request for quotation on purchased/processed parts and outsourced assembly; study quotations, negotiate prices, and decide on order price.
• Delivery control, receiving and inspection of purchased parts and unit processed goods.
• Control of purchasing molding die parts and spare.
• Special orders from VP/President.

• Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's / College Degree in Engineering (Mechanical/ Electrical/ ECE) or equivalent


• At least 2-3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for the position
