Job summary

Seafoods Varities Corp. in Laguna invites a dynamic General Trade Sales professional to prospect, acquire and build relationships with business owners and purchasing decision-makers.

You will present and sell SVC products, take orders, and drive repeat business through field visits. Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will develop assigned territories, coordinate with logistics for timely delivery, and monitor market trends to identify opportunities.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of sales experience in General Trade, FMCG, Frozen Products or related industries.
• Experience selling to sari-sari stores, restaurants, cafés, food stalls, resellers or other small businesses is an advantage.
• Strong prospecting, negotiation, communication and closing skills.
• Comfortable with field sales and face-to-face customer engagement.
• Results-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently.
• Familiarity with frozen fish products is a plus.
• Willing to travel within the assigned territory.
• Valid driver's license is an advantage.
• Bachelor's degree is preferred; relevant sales experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and acquire new General Trade customers through field visits and direct selling.
• Present and sell SVC products to business owners and purchasing decision-makers.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships and generate repeat orders.
• Manage customer accounts, take orders, follow up on inquiries, and identify upselling opportunities.
• Negotiate pricing and order quantities within company guidelines and close sales.
• Develop assigned territories and continuously identify new sales opportunities.
• Coordinate with Storage and Logistics teams to ensure timely order fulfillment and delivery.
• Monitor competitor pricing, customer demand, and market trends.
• Submit regular sales reports, forecasts, and field activity updates.
• Assist in monitoring customer payments and collections.
