Job summary

blk cosmetics is seeking a Field Operations Specialist to support smooth retail execution across all store locations in the Philippines. You will work with the Operations Manager to implement strategies, monitor performance, and maintain high standards that drive sales and customer satisfaction.

You will visit stores to assess operations, coordinate with head office and partners, and assist in events and promotions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Business/Marketing/Operations).
• 2+ years in Retail/FMCG/Beauty or Consumer Goods operations preferred.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

The Field Operations Specialist is responsible for supporting and ensuring the smooth execution of retail operations across all store locations. This role works closely with the Operations Manager to implement operational strategies, monitor store performance, coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, and maintain high operational standards that drive sales and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Execution & Process Improvement

• Report directly to the Operations Manager and assist in implementing operational policies, systems, and process improvements.
• Support the development and execution of strategies that improve store efficiency, productivity, and customer experience.
• Ensure operational compliance and consistency across all retail locations.

Inventory & Supply Chain Coordination

• Monitor inventory levels, product availability, testers, and store supplies.
• Coordinate with the Head Office and relevant departments to ensure timely replenishment and achieve optimal stock levels.
• Assist in demand planning and inventory forecasting to support a high store fill rate.
• Handle urgent deliveries and operational requirements when necessary.

Store Operations & Field Support

• Conduct regular store visits to assess operational performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Monitor store cleanliness, merchandising standards, and overall store presentation.
• Evaluate the performance and operational compliance of Beauty Advisors/Beauty Assistants.
• Resolve store concerns and operational issues in a timely and professional manner.

Stakeholder Coordination

• Collaborate with office support teams, suppliers, mall administrators, and retail partners to facilitate operational requirements.
• Coordinate store maintenance, promotional activities, visual merchandising updates, and other operational initiatives.

Events & Retail Activities

• Assist in planning and executing product launches, store openings, promotional campaigns, conventions, fairs, bazaars, and other retail events.
• Ensure operational readiness before, during, and after events.

Reporting & Analysis

• Prepare operational reports, inventory summaries, store visit findings, and performance analyses.
• Provide recommendations based on data and field observations to improve operational efficiency and sales performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Operations Management, or any related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in Retail, FMCG, Beauty, Cosmetics, or Consumer Goods operations is preferred.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to work independently, multitask, and perform effectively under pressure.
• Willing to travel and conduct regular fieldwork/store visits.
