Job summary

Handlink, Inc. is seeking a dependable Technical Engineer to support installation, configuration, maintenance and troubleshooting of IT, network, security, and auxiliary systems.

The role blends office coordination, site work, project implementation and customer support. You’ll participate in site surveys, prepare technical information, assist project delivery, troubleshoot issues and ensure tests and documentation are complete.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, CS, CE, or related field.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience in technical support, systems installation, network support, field engineering, or similar role.
• Basic working knowledge of IP networking, switching, routing, wireless technologies, or network security.

Responsibilities

• Conduct or assist with site surveys and gather information for project planning.
• Support the design, installation, configuration, testing, and maintenance of technical systems.
• Troubleshoot hardware, network, connectivity, and system-related concerns.
• Coordinate with clients, suppliers, contractors, and internal teams during project implementation.
• Prepare technical recommendations, equipment requirements, and basic Bills of Materials (BOM).
• Monitor project activities and provide updates on progress and next steps.
• Perform preventive maintenance and recommend corrective actions.
• Check completed work and ensure installations meet project requirements and quality standards.
• Prepare service/site/test reports and other technical documentation.
• Provide onsite or remote technical support when required.
