Job summary

Handlink, Inc. is seeking a dependable Technical Engineer to support installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of IT, network, security, and auxiliary systems in Davao. The role blends office coordination, site work, project implementation, and customer support.

You will conduct site surveys, assist with design and testing, troubleshoot issues, and document outcomes. A strong technical foundation and willingness to learn are essential, with travel to client sites within Davao

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related technical field.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience in technical support, systems installation, network support, field engineering, or a similar role.
• Basic working knowledge of IP networking, switching, routing, wireless technologies, or network security.
• Willing to travel within Davao and nearby areas.
• Comfortable working onsite at client locations and handling field assignments.

Responsibilities

• Conduct or assist with site surveys and gather information needed for project planning and implementation.
• Support the design, installation, configuration, testing, and maintenance of technical systems.
• Troubleshoot hardware, network, connectivity, and system-related concerns.
• Coordinate with clients, suppliers, contractors, and internal teams during project implementation.
• Assist in preparing technical recommendations, equipment requirements, and basic Bills of Materials (BOM).
• Monitor assigned project activities and provide timely updates on progress, concerns, and next steps.
• Perform preventive maintenance and recommend corrective actions when issues are identified.
• Check completed work and help ensure installations meet project requirements and quality standards.
• Prepare service reports, site reports, test results, and other technical documentation.
• Provide onsite or remote technical support when required.
• Perform other related technical duties as reasonably assigned.
