Job summary
Handlink, Inc. is seeking a dependable Technical Engineer to support installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of IT, network, security, and auxiliary systems.
The role combines office coordination, site work, project implementation, and customer support at client locations in Davao and nearby areas. Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related technical course.
- At least 1 year of relevant experience in technical support, systems installation, network support, field engineering, or a similar role.
- Basic working knowledge of IP networking, switching, routing, wireless technologies, or network security.
- Ability to diagnose technical concerns and explain findings clearly.
- Comfortable working onsite at client locations and handling field assignments.
- Willing to travel within Davao and nearby areas.
Responsibilities
- Conduct or assist with site surveys and gather information for project planning and implementation.
- Support the design, installation, configuration, testing, and maintenance of technical systems.
- Troubleshoot hardware, network, connectivity, and system-related concerns.
- Coordinate with clients, suppliers, contractors, and internal teams during project implementation.
- Assist in preparing technical recommendations, equipment requirements, and basic Bills of Materials (BOM).
- Monitor assigned project activities and provide updates on progress, concerns, and next steps.
- Perform preventive maintenance and recommend corrective actions.
- Check completed work and ensure installations meet project requirements and quality standards.
- Prepare service reports, site reports, test results, and other technical documentation.
- Provide onsite or remote technical support when required.
- Perform other related technical duties as reasonably assigned.
