Job summary

Tahche Outsourcing Services Inc is seeking an OSP Field Engineer to collect field information for OSP engineering design projects. This role involves gathering data on handholes, conduit paths, fiber routes, pole information, and coordinating third-party attachments for submissions in SPANS.

You will also map routes and use GIS tools to support designs. The position is full-time with a shifting schedule and an office-based setup at IBP Tower in Ortigas Center, Pasig City.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics preferred.
• 3–5 years outside plant design experience with 1–2 years FTTH experience is preferred.
• Must have Valid Driver's License.
• Experience with pole loading calculations and third party attachment requests.
• Experience with outside plant engineering and construction techniques.
• Experience with AutoCAD, Vetro, Sitetracker, or client GIS software.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field and site surveys to collect information for proposed projects, create site details, and collect digital images for submission to the OSP Engineer.
• Collect information to apply for permits and easements.
• Work safely and independently.
• Conduct research to diagnose and develop solutions.
• Analyze field conditions and communicate findings to engineering teams.
• Perform route analysis and map fiber routes (aerial/underground).
• Handle fiber verification and mapping activities.
• Use GIS and other software to develop engineering designs.
• Submit state and local permit applications as required for OSP projects.
• Assist with OSP designs and related tasks.
