Job summary

Advanced Energy is seeking a Construction Project Coordinator to lead major facilities projects, optimize production layout, and upgrade infrastructure. You will provide technical expertise with a focus on efficiency, reliability, and long-term maintainability, ensuring plant equipment and utilities stay in peak condition.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering; licensed engineer (PRC Board Passer required).
• At least 8 years of relevant facilities engineering experience in industrial/manufacturing settings.
• Experience in facilities management, engineering projects, or construction project execution.
• Strong knowledge of project management processes: scope, cost, scheduling, close-out.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and calculations; familiarity with safety/regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Manage facilities and plant management projects across all phases: Initiation, Planning, Execution, and Close-Out.
• Develop complete project documentation including Scope of Works, cost estimates, schedules, and technical specifications.
• Coordinate engineering projects with Facilities Operations for safe, compliant execution.
• Prepare, evaluate, and recommend bids, contracts, and proposals for equipment upgrades and construction works.
• Create design plans, technical calculations, and construction drawings for project implementation.
• Lead project coordination meetings with internal customers including manufacturing, purchasing, finance, EHS, IT, etc.
• Coordinate meetings with external organizations (PEZA, DOLE, Meralco, LTI) for regulatory permits.
• Oversee contractor activities, ensuring safety, quality, and timelines.
• Manage project budgets, progress billings, financial reporting, and payments.
• Prepare technical reports, risk assessments, and management recommendations.
