Job summary

Fredley Group of Companies is seeking an Equipment Technician to ensure proper functioning, safety, and upkeep of facilities and equipment across store branches.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems, and supporting multiple brands to maintain smooth operations. Willingness to travel between branches is required, with emphasis on safety and record-keeping.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a vocational or technical course in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, or Building Maintenance.
• 1–2 years of relevant maintenance experience, preferably in F&B or retail.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs of store and office equipment (HVAC, lighting, exhaust, refrigeration, kitchen equipment, plumbing).
• Ensure facilities and equipment are in good working condition to support daily operations.
• Respond to maintenance requests from stores, warehouses, or offices promptly.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, or plumbing issues to minimize downtime.
• Coordinate with external contractors for major repairs or specialized work.
• Maintain preventive maintenance schedules and inventory of tools/parts.
• Keep detailed records of maintenance work and timelines.
• Adhere to safety policies and local regulations.
• Identify hazards and propose corrective actions.
• Assist in inspections, store openings, renovations, and improvement projects.
