Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Building Engineer in the Philippines to monitor, maintain, and repair building systems across mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and safety disciplines.

You will support preventive maintenance programs, comply with codes, and help improve energy efficiency, with 1–2 years of facilities experience; a data center background is a plus. Training and teamwork are emphasized.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs to mechanical, plumbing, structural, furniture, fire, life safety, and control systems.
• Ensure building operations comply with applicable codes and safety regulations.
• Maintain an energy management program to optimize system efficiency.
• Assist with preventive maintenance programs and emergency repairs as needed.
• Follow policies for safe storage and disposal of hazardous materials; maintain a safe workplace.
• Review building systems (fire alarms, HVAC, plumbing) for operation within design specs.
• Apply standard principles to accomplish complex tasks and provide innovative solutions.
• Coach others and share knowledge within the function.
• Lead by example and help build consensus across teams.
