Job summary

Unilever in Cavite, Philippines, seeks a Facilities Engineer to lead operation and maintenance of site facilities, ensuring safe, reliable, and cost-effective support for the factory. You will supervise electrical systems, HVAC, building services, and security systems while collaborating with contractors for mid-scale projects.

The role requires strong diagnostic, documentation, and safety discipline, with focus on energy monitoring and preventive maintenance in a GMP/HACCP-aligned environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation or Electronics Engineering.
• Knowledge of MV/LV electrical distribution, building services, HVAC, FDAS and CCTV systems.
• Ability to analyze systems and propose improvements; strong documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead operation and maintenance of site facilities to ensure safe, reliable services.
• Perform diagnostic, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems and building services.
• Coordinate with contractors/service providers for mid-scale repairs and projects.
• Prepare work instructions, inspect site work, and ensure compliance with safety and GMP/HACCP where applicable.
• Support energy efficiency programs and monitor maintenance plans against budget.
