Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking a Facilities Manager to develop and oversee preventive maintenance for electrical and mechanical systems in a manufacturing environment. The role supervises maintenance staff, plans upgrades, and ensures compliance with ISO 9001 and safety standards.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in facilities operations, a relevant engineering degree, and license/registration. Willingness to work overtime and coordinate with multiple departments is essential.

Qualifications

• BS Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering degree.
• Registered Mech Engr/ PME or REE/PEE.
• 5+ years in supervisory/managerial facilities ops in industrial setting.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, wastewater, fire safety, ISO 9001.
• Demonstrated leadership and ability to manage maintenance teams.
• Willing to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

Job Description:

• Develops, implements, and oversees preventive maintenance programs for electrical and mechanical systems to ensure efficient and reliable plant operations.

• Supervises technicians in conducting maintenance activities, inspections, troubleshooting, and corrective actions.

• Coordinates with production and support departments regarding facility, utility, and equipment requirements.

• Monitors, evaluates, and improves plant electrical and mechanical systems, including utility consumption, equipment performance, and resource utilization.

• Prepares technical plans, material specifications, cost estimates, and project requirements for equipment installation, facility upgrades, and expansion projects.

• Manages spare parts inventory and ensure the availability of materials needed for maintenance and operations.

• Oversees contractor activities and ensure projects are completed according to technical and safety standards.

• Prepares and submits required reports and documentation to Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA), government agencies, and other stakeholders.

• Ensures compliance with ISO standards, environmental, occupational health and safety requirements, and company policies.

• Leads continuous improvement initiatives focused on operational efficiency, utility cost reduction, productivity, quality, and safety performance.

Requirements:

• BS Mechanical Engineering Graduate or Electrical Engineer Graduate

• Registered Mech Engr/ PME or REE/PEE

• With at least 5 years supervisory or managerial hands-on experience in Facilities operations and maintenance of industrial/manufacturing facility.

• Well knowledgeable in Operations and Maintenance of HVAC, CDA, FDAS, Fire Pro, RODI, wastewater, Plumbing , Building maintenance, Critical parameters trend analysis, budget management, 8D and RCA, ISO 90001.

• Demonstrated leadership and supervisory skills in managing facilities maintenance technicians and driving team performance.

• Flexible and willing to work beyond regular hours, including overtime, weekends, and holidays, as operational requirements demand.
