Role Overview

We are looking for a licensed and results-driven Building Engineer to oversee our facility operations, maintain equipment integrity, and ensure high operational standards. In this role, you will lead preventive and corrective maintenance, monitor utility efficiency, manage ongoing construction works, and enforce comprehensive safety protocols to support seamless property operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Facility & Equipment Maintenance

  • Conduct regular inspections of all building equipment and facilities.

  • Implement proactive preventive maintenance schedules and execute timely corrective repairs.

• Cost & Energy Management

  • Implement energy-conservation initiatives and track utility consumption.

  • Drive cost-saving measures without compromising operational quality or efficiency.

• Project & Construction Monitoring

  • Oversee tenant fit-out activities and ongoing construction to ensure compliance with property guidelines.

  • Review technical plans, cost estimates, and Scopes of Work (SOW) for facility projects.

• Technical Documentation & Reporting

  • Track and communicate the status of work requests, assist in scheduling, and manage testing/validation processes.

  • Maintain up-to-date and accurate as-built documentation for all physical assets.

• Safety & Compliance

  • Enforce property safety programs and risk mitigation plans to minimize operational liabilities and meet regulatory standards.

• Stakeholder Communication

  • Prepare and deliver clear technical briefings and updates to cross-functional teams, clients, and property stakeholders.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.

• Professional Registration: Must be a Registered Mechanical Engineer (RME) or Registered Electrical Engineer (REE).

• Experience: Minimum of 2–3 years of hands-on experience in Mall/Retail Operations or Property Management.

• Core Competencies: Strong technical background, excellent project monitoring capabilities, thorough understanding of facility safety guidelines, and clear communication skills.
