We are looking for a Facilities Engineer with an Electrical Engineering background to oversee the maintenance, safety, reliability, and operational readiness of our restaurant facilities.
The role will have a strong focus on electrical systems and facilities, including power distribution, electrical equipment, lighting, generators, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and energy management across multiple restaurant branches.
The ideal candidate is a Licensed Electrical Engineer (REE) with hands‑on experience in facilities, building maintenance, retail, restaurant, hotel, or other multi‑site operations.
Oversee the day‑to‑day facilities and maintenance requirements of multiple restaurant branches, with a primary focus on electrical systems.
Inspect, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical systems, including electrical panels, distribution boards, wiring, lighting, outlets, generators, and other electrical equipment.
Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance programs for restaurant facilities.
Respond to electrical breakdowns, power interruptions, and urgent facility‑related concerns.
Monitor electrical loads, power consumption, and equipment performance.
Identify opportunities to improve energy efficiency and reduce electricity costs.
Coordinate electrical repairs, installations, upgrades, and maintenance works with contractors and service providers.
Supervise contractors and ensure that electrical and facility works are completed safely, properly, and on schedule.
Review electrical plans, single‑line diagrams, technical drawings, and specifications for store construction, renovation, and fit‑out projects.
Provide technical support for new restaurant openings, renovations, store expansions, and equipment installations.
Coordinate with Restaurant Managers and Operations teams to resolve facility concerns with minimal disruption to business.
Ensure compliance with applicable Philippine electrical, fire, building, and safety standards.
Conduct regular branch inspections and prepare maintenance, inspection, and incident reports.
Monitor maintenance requirements, service contracts, quotations, and repair costs.
Coordinate with utility providers, contractors, suppliers, and other external service providers as needed.
Support the overall maintenance of other facility systems, including HVAC, plumbing, refrigeration, fire protection, and general building infrastructure.
Recommend facility improvements that enhance safety, reliability, operational efficiency, and cost effectiveness.
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
Licensed Electrical Engineer (REE) is required.
At least 3 years of relevant experience in facilities engineering, electrical engineering, building maintenance, construction, or a related field.
Experience in restaurant, retail, hotel, commercial, or other multi‑site operations is highly preferred.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, power distribution, lighting, generators, electrical protection, and building facilities.
Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical plans, single‑line diagrams, schematics, and technical drawings.
Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
Experience coordinating and supervising contractors and service providers.
Knowledge of preventive maintenance programs and electrical safety practices.
Familiarity with Philippine electrical, fire, and building codes and standards.
Willing to travel to and conduct inspections across multiple restaurant branches.
Strong communication, coordination, and project management skills.
Hands‑on, proactive, safety‑conscious, and able to respond effectively to urgent facility concerns.
Experience managing facilities for multiple restaurant or retail branches.
Familiarity with commercial kitchen electrical requirements and restaurant equipment.
Experience with generators, ATS, UPS, transformers, and other backup power systems.
Experience in store construction, fit‑out, renovation, and new branch openings.
Knowledge of energy management and electrical load optimization.
RME knowledge or experience is an advantage.
