Job summary

JLL in Cebu City is seeking a facilities management professional to drive cost effective engineering initiatives, oversee maintenance, and coordinate complex projects across multiple sites. The role emphasizes budget alignment, contract oversight, and client-facing reporting.

You will implement policies and standards, manage work plans, and lead engineering teams to deliver on time and within budget while mitigating risks. This position is based in Cebu City.

Job description

Make recommendations to the Management Team on staffing and personnel development

Consensus decision making, delegation, planning and co-ordination

Financial Management and its application :-Process, Budgetary Control, Forecasting, Resources allocation

Prioritize & set expectations on key deliverables.

Develop and implement policies, standards and procedures for the engineering and technical work performed in the Account.

Perform administrative functions such as reviewing and writing reports, enforcing rules, and recommending decisions about the purchase of materials or services.

Review and recommend approval of contracts and cost estimates.

Present and explain proposals, reports, and findings to clients. Consult or negotiate with clients to prepare project specifications.

Coordinate and direct projects, making detailed plans to accomplish goals and directing the integration of technical activities.

Plan and direct the operation, maintenance, and repair of facilities and equipment.

Manage the output of the Repairs and Maintenance program. Responsible for on time, on budget, delivery of engineering work

Manage all M&E works including contractor management

Ensure Planned Preventative Maintenance is undertaken in accordance with the schedule

Effectively manage all Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC)

Ensure OHSAS guidelines and policies are carried out

Develop and maintain work breakdown schedules

Continually seek to identify and minimize areas of risk

Identify and reduce waste wherever possible

Provide leadership to all employees and subcontractors in the Engineering teams

Develop a strong network of industry suppliers, subcontractors and contracts

Manage all workflow documentation and reporting

Develop full understanding of scope/contract and impact across different departments/projects/areas of business

Provide technical direction and guidance. Enforces standard policies and procedures.

Review development plans for compliance with adopted engineering standards and good engineering practices.

Manage project issues, budgets, and schedules.

Drive maintenance and improvement works ensuring all procedures, processes, and client requirements are undertaken in a timely and efficient manner.
