Job summary

EY GDS in Manila seeks an experienced Assurance FAAS Manager to lead enhanced corporate accounting and reporting projects, focusing on GAAP conversion, IFRS/USGAAP disclosures, and technical accounting advisory for global clients.

You will manage engagements with cross-functional teams, coach junior staff, and drive quality, accuracy, and timely delivery while collaborating with onshore partners.

Qualifications

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with post-qualification experience.
• 6–10 years in Assurance with at least 3+ years of Financial Accounting and Advisory experience.
• Hands-on consulting experience at a Big 4 or top-tier firm.
• Experience leading teams of 10+ people.
• Strong IFRS/US/UK GAAP knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Manage quality of service delivery.
• Lead engagement teams and coordinate with onshore partners.
• Apply accounting standards to complex client matters.
• Research and benchmark accounting data against industry.
• Prepare financial statements with appropriate policies and governance.
• Support business development and thought leadership initiatives.
