Job summary

GloPros in Metro Manila is seeking an experienced External Veeam Support Specialist to act as the operational SME for the global Veeam Backup & Recovery environment, spanning datacenters, cloud services and manufacturing sites.

This hands-on, second-line role covers monitoring, incident resolution, patching, upgrades, and coordination with Veeam Support and Global IT Operations to maintain reliability and security.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant infrastructure and backup experience, including advanced hands-on Veeam experience.
• Experience with ITIL-based incident, problem and change-management processes, with strong documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide second-line support for the global Veeam Backup & Recovery service, taking ownership of incidents and escalations.
• Monitor the global backup infrastructure and dashboards, identify failures, and escalate as needed.
• Maintain Veeam infrastructure components (Enterprise Manager, Veeam ONE, B&R servers, proxies, repositories, agents).
• Troubleshoot recurring backup failures, perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Support restores validation and troubleshooting activities.
• Coordinate upgrades and apply approved configuration changes following change-management procedures.
