Job summary

Globalprofessionals is seeking a Veeam Support Specialist to provide second-line operational support for a global backup environment. You will monitor, troubleshoot, and escalate incidents across multiple datacenters, clouds and manufacturing locations.

The role requires deep Veeam expertise, Linux administration and Windows Server experience, plus ITIL-aligned processes and strong English communication for global collaboration. Hybrid work is available with occasional after-hours support.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent.
5+ years of relevant infrastructure and backup experience with advanced hands-on Veeam.
Experience with ITIL incident, problem and change-management processes.
Strong English communication and ability to work with global teams.

Responsibilities

Provide second-line support for the global Veeam Backup & Recovery service; own incidents and escalations.
Monitor backup infrastructure and dashboards; act on failures per escalation path.
Troubleshoot Veeam components and perform root-cause analysis for failures.
Support restores validation, changes, upgrades and security hardening.
Coordinate with Veeam and internal teams; maintain runbooks and knowledge articles.
