Job summary

Planet Pharma seeks an External Manufacturing Operations Manager to lead a network of contract manufacturers and critical suppliers, ensuring uninterrupted supply and optimizing production, inventory and KPI performance.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience in manufacturing operations, contract manufacturing management, and supply chain execution within regulated industries, with strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills to drive results in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations or related field.
• 6+ years of experience in manufacturing, supply chain, or external manufacturing environments.
• Experience managing contract manufacturers and supplier performance.
• Strong problem-solving, project management, and cross-functional leadership skills.
• Experience within regulated industries such as Medical Devices, Pharmaceuticals, Biotechnology, or other highly regulated sectors.
• Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead operational performance across a network of contract manufacturers and critical suppliers.
• Ensure uninterrupted supply and manage production and inventory performance.
• Drive issue resolution and lead cross-functional initiatives across Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, Engineering and Planning.
• Oversee supplier relationships, monitor operational KPIs, coordinate product transfers and capacity expansion activities.
• Serve as a key interface between external partners and internal stakeholders.
