Job summary

City Garden Suites is seeking an experienced Housekeeping Manager to lead the department, ensuring guest rooms, public areas and back-of-house spaces meet the highest standards of cleanliness and readiness. You will manage staffing, inventory, budgeting and safety, coordinating closely with Front Office, Engineering, F&B and Security to deliver guest satisfaction and hotel profitability.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Hospitality, at least 5 years of progressive housekeeping experience with

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive housekeeping experience in hotel operations, with supervisory exposure.
• Strong knowledge of room cleaning standards, public-area operations, inventory and budget control.
• Experience with hotel PMS systems; Opera familiarity is a plus.
• Proven ability to lead teams, manage costs and coordinate across departments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Housekeeping Department and ensure cleanliness, presentation, safety and upkeep of guest rooms and public areas.
• Conduct regular inspections and address VIPs, arrivals, and maintenance gaps.
• Coordinate daily room prioritization with Front Office for on-time readiness and room moves.
• Monitor room status in the PMS and resolve discrepancies with Front Office.
• Raise and track defects with Engineering until closure.
• Manage par levels for linen, supplies and equipment according to occupancy.
