Job summary

Mandarin Oriental Makati, an upcoming 5‑star luxury hotel, seeks an Executive Housekeeper to lead pre-opening and ongoing housekeeping operations. You will establish world-class standards, recruit and train a high-performing team, and ensure the highest levels of cleanliness, comfort, and luxury in line with Mandarin Oriental's service standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Executive Housekeeper or senior housekeeping leader in a luxury hotel environment.
• Pre-opening experience highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement housekeeping policies, procedures, and operating manuals.
• Recruit, train, and onboard housekeeping team members.
• Coordinate with suppliers for linen, cleaning equipment, and guest amenities.
• Collaborate with project and design teams to ensure readiness of guest rooms and public areas.
• Lead and manage the housekeeping department to meet luxury standards.
• Oversee scheduling, inspections, and quality control.
• Implement sustainability and cost-control measures while maintaining luxury standards.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
• Foster a culture of excellence, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
• Work closely with Front Office, Engineering, and other departments to deliver seamless guest experiences.
