Job summary

Vikings Group of Companies is seeking an Executive Chef to oversee all kitchen operations across its renowned dining concepts in the Philippines. You will ensure exceptional food quality, consistency, presentation, and operational efficiency while leading a large culinary team.

You will drive food-cost control, uphold top-tier food safety standards, and create innovative buffet presentations that delight guests at Vikings Greenhills and other brands; availability to start immediately and work

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years as Executive Chef in a large hotel or cruise ship environment.
• Proven leadership, team management and decision-making abilities.
• Strong knowledge of large-scale food production and culinary quality standards.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to lead and supervise kitchen staff across multiple stations.
• Strong cost-control awareness and product cost management.
• Experience in training staff for high-volume service.
• Creative in buffet presentation and food styling.
• Willing to work on-site with flexible schedules, including weekends/holidays.
• Willing to start immediately.
• Willing to be assigned to Vikings Greenhills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all kitchen operations to ensure quality, consistency and presentation.
• Lead, develop and train culinary team and supervise kitchen personnel across stations.
• Manage food costs, waste, and inventory; enforce food safety standards.
• Drive creativity in buffet presentations and display.
