Megaworld Corporation's The Mactan Expo seeks an Events Services Manager to oversee planning, coordination, and execution of all event-related services, ensuring top-tier guest experiences and seamless operations.

You will lead internal teams and manage relationships with suppliers, contractors, and clients, coordinating with Facilities, Security, Sales, and Marketing to deliver premier events at the venue.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, tourism, business administration or related field.
• Minimum 7 years in event operations, banquet or convention services management.
• At least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
• Experience in managing 3rd-party service providers such as housekeeping, catering, and guest services.
• Background in hospitality, MICE, or convention center operations — Preferred / Advantage.
• Knowledge of supplier accreditation and monitoring systems.
• Scheduling manpower and monitoring 3rd-party service contracts.
• Strong documentation, reporting, and presentation skills.
• Excellent leadership and coordination abilities.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and solution-driven.
• Professional composure under pressure during high-volume operations.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end event operations, from pre-event planning to post-event evaluation.
• Serve as the main point of contact for clients regarding event services.
• Maintain relationships with suppliers, contractors, and service providers.
• Lead and supervise the events services team and on-ground staff.
• Coordinate with Facilities, Security, Sales, and Marketing teams.
• Oversee inventory of equipment, furniture, and event supplies.
• Conduct post-event reviews and prepare performance reports.
• Maintain documentation for standard operating procedures (SOPs).
