Location: Philippines - Makati/Ortigas/Pampanga/Cebu/Davao/Bacolod
Schedule: Night Shift
We are looking for an experienced Estimator with an engineering background and hands‑on knowledge of laser cutting and metal sheet fabrication. The ideal candidate will have 2–3 years of relevant estimating experience, strong attention to detail, and experience using SigmaQUOTE or similar estimating software.
The Estimator will be responsible for reviewing drawings and project requirements, preparing accurate material and production estimates, and ensuring quotations are competitive and aligned with manufacturing capabilities.
Review engineering drawings, specifications, and customer requirements to prepare accurate cost estimates.
Estimate material requirements, including metal sheets, thicknesses, and quantities.
Calculate laser cutting time, material usage, labor, and other production costs.
Prepare quotations based on project requirements and production processes.
Use SigmaQUOTE to prepare and manage estimates and quotations.
Review CAD drawings and understand dimensions, tolerances, and fabrication requirements.
Identify potential manufacturing issues or cost‑saving opportunities.
Coordinate with engineering, production, and sales teams to ensure estimates are accurate.
Research and validate material and production costs as needed.
Ensure quotations are completed accurately and within required timelines.
Maintain accurate records of estimates, pricing, and project information.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
2–3 years of experience in estimating, preferably within metal fabrication, manufacturing, or sheet metal industries.
Good working knowledge of laser cutting processes for metal sheets.
Experience with SigmaQUOTE is highly preferred.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and CAD files.
Strong understanding of sheet metal materials, thicknesses, fabrication processes, and production requirements.
Good mathematical and analytical skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Good communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Experience with CNC laser cutting and sheet metal fabrication.
Knowledge of material nesting and material utilization.
Experience with SigmaQUOTE.
Familiarity with CAD/CAM software.
Experience estimating costs for custom or made‑to‑order fabrication projects.
Understanding of manufacturing lead times and production processes.
