Cloudstaff is hiring a Draftsperson in Angeles (Pampanga) to create 3D models using Creo, read structural plans, and support the Design team with knowledge sharing. The role emphasizes accuracy, QA, and collaboration within an in‑office setting in the Philippines.

The position requires mechanics engineering background or fabrication shop experience, with familiarity in Creo, Inventor, or SolidWorks, and a strong eye for detail across heavy manufacturing projects.

Formación

• Mechanical engineering or fabrication background required.
• Design drafting experience in heavy manufacturing-wise streams.
• Experience with 3D modelling software; Creo is a plus, Inventor/SolidWorks acceptable with on‑the‑job training.

Responsabilidades

Job Description

• Working with the latest Creo drafting software to create 3D models.
• Reading and understanding structural engineering plans.
• Supporting the Design team through sharing of knowledge & experience.
• Key accountabilities are below but not limited to the below.

Key Accountabilities

• 3D Modelling / Drafting / Shop Detailing

• Accurate and timely production of 3D models / Engineering Drawings / Shop Drawings
• Creating Bill Of Materials
• Attention to every detail on every project
• Following QA process to ensure consistent output

Communication

• Clear and timely communication between all internal and external contacts
• Liaising with Salespeople, Engineers, Project Managers, Architects & Clients
• Guiding & assisting Creo Drafters

Identifying

• Opportunities for process improvement within the Building Design Team
• Opportunities for value engineering (cost saving)
• Product development ideas

Teamwork

• Be able to work within a team environment
• Be able to share resources and work within a collaborative way
• Adaptable and open to help others when required

Continuous Improvement

• Continuously improve the customer experience by contributing to the development and implementation of new practices and procedures.
• Commits to action by implementing decisions or initiates action within an appropriate timeframe. Seeks feedback on outcomes of decisions as appropriate. Contributes to process improvement efforts.

Focusing on Safety

• Identify and reports hazards and incidents - recognises unsafe working conditions, environments and behaviours that can jeopardise staff safety. Alert relevant support staff and line manager to safety risks and issues as a priority.

Desirable / Mandatory

• Mechanical engineering, trade qualifications or fabrication shop experience
• Previous experience in the road transport industry
• Design drafting experience in similar streams of heavy manufacturing
• Experience with 3D modelling software; Creo experience would be a distinct advantage, Inventor or SolidWorks experience would be satisfactory as on the job training will be provided.
• Knowledge of relevant Australian Standards of drafting, welding and heavy steel fabrication

Non-negotiable Skills & Requirements

• Mechanical engineering, trade qualifications or fabrication shop experience
• Design drafting experience in similar streams of heavy manufacturing
• Experience with 3D modelling software; Creo experience would be a distinct advantage, Inventor or SolidWorks experience would be satisfactory as on the job training will be provided.
