Job summary

Primover Consultancy Services, Inc. is seeking a Civil Engineering professional to review project documents, develop bid proposals, and prepare bid drawings. The role focuses on identifying requirements, selecting materials, and maintaining cost data to support timely construction bids.

You will engage with clients to understand needs, work with project engineers, and ensure bids meet established quality standards. Willingness to travel and perform field work is preferred.

Qualifications

• BS Civil Engineering graduate.
• PRC licensed (preferred).
• Experience in construction project implementation is advantageous.
• Knowledge of roofing, cladding, ceilings or façade systems is advantageous.
• Willing to travel, perform field work, and render overtime when required.

Responsibilities

• Review project documents, including architectural plans, specifications, and drawings, to ensure timely project assessment.
• Identify critical project requirements, such as design specifications, materials, and scope, to streamline the evaluation process.
• Evaluate and select appropriate materials and components for projects, optimizing decision-making without compromising quality.
• Maintain an up-to-date and organized catalog of materials, including their specifications, costs, and performance data.
• Conduct quantity takeoffs with a high level of precision, minimizing the likelihood of overestimation or underestimation of materials required.
• Ensure that all data used in estimations, including material costs, labor rates, and equipment expenses, is kept up-to-date and reflects current market conditions.
• Create detailed scope of work considered the bid proposal.
• Prepare and proofread bid drawings and list of specifications.
• Engage with clients to understand their specific needs, architectural visions, and project goals.
• Work with project engineers to ensure that the project meets or exceeds quality standards established during the bidding phase.
