Job summary

DLL & SONS COMPANY ASIA LTD.,INC. is seeking an Office Engineer / Estimator to provide technical, documentation, and cost-estimating support for project teams in the Philippines.

You will ensure accurate quantity take-offs, prepare cost estimates, and assist with billing to support project profitability. The role requires 2+ years of estimating experience in construction or engineering, REE certification, and proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and MS Project/Primavera.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Electrical Engineer (REE).
• At least 2 years of work experience as an Estimator in a construction or engineering firm.
• Proficient in MS Excel, AutoCAD, MS Project/Primavera.

Responsibilities

• Perform quantity take-offs from architectural, structural, electrical, and other engineering drawings.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates for bids, proposals, and additional works/variation orders.
• Source and analyze material, labor, equipment, and subcontractor quotations.
• Conduct value engineering and recommend cost-saving alternatives without compromising quality.
• Prepare budget vs. actual cost reports and cost-to-complete analysis.
• Review contracts, plans, specifications, and Site Instructions.
• Prepare technical documents: RFIs, transmittals, shop drawings, as-builts, and submittals.
• Assist in preparation of progress billings, claims, and project accomplishment reports.
• Maintain organized project files and document control system.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors

About the role

About you
