Job summary

SteelAsia Manufacturing Corporation seeks an experienced ESH leader to oversee the implementation of the company's Environment, Safety and Health programs, ensuring compliance with local regulations and management system requirements.

You will supervise Safety Officers, Pollution Control Officer, and Occupational Health Nurse in driving regulatory compliance, incident prevention, environmental protection, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in environmental or engineering discipline.
• Professional license or accreditation preferred.
• Experience leading ESH programs and teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of ESH programs to meet laws and company policy.
• Oversee Safety Officers, PCO, and Occupational Health Nurse to ensure compliance.
• Drive regulatory compliance, incident prevention, and environmental protection.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and management reviews.
• Monitor HSE performance metrics and initiate improvements.
• Ensure timely submission of DENR, DOLE, and other regulatory reports.
• Promote a culture of safety, environmental stewardship and operational excellence.
• Support ESG objectives and sustainability initiatives.
• Supervise ESH and ESG personnel and develop competency.
• Liaise with government agencies and stakeholders on compliance.
• Review data, trends, and interventions to improve outcomes.

Education
