Job summary

SteelAsia Manufacturing Corporation is seeking a senior ESH leader to drive the company-wide Environment, Safety and Health programs and ensure compliance with environmental, occupational safety and health regulations. You will supervise Safety Officers, PCO, and the Occupational Health Nurse while guiding audits, incident investigations, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and professional license.
• 5+ years of progressively responsible experience in Environment, Safety and Health in manufacturing/industrial settings.
• At least 3 years in a supervisory capacity leading ESH personnel.
• Experience with ISO management systems and regulatory compliance.
• Certified Lead Auditor for ISO 9001/ISO 14001/ISO 45001 preferred.
• Certified Pollution Control Officer (PCO) under DENR preferred.
• Accredited Safety Practitioner / Safety Officer 3 or 4 under DOLE preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise implementation of ESH programs ensuring compliance with environmental and safety regulations.
• Oversee Safety Officers, PCO, and Occupational Health Nurse to drive regulatory compliance and incident prevention.
• Coordinate audits with certification bodies and assist Management Representative during external audits.
• Ensure timely DENR and DOLE reporting and adherence to national/local regulations.
• Implement and improve HSE programs aligned with Philippine laws and company policies.
• Review safety data and trends to identify interventions and drive continuous improvement.
• Mentor ESH and ESG staff and ensure competency development.
• Support sustainability objectives and promote a culture of safety and environmental stewardship.
