Job summary

ADM Asia-Pacific Trading Pte. Ltd. is seeking an Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) Specialist to lead compliance, risk assessments, training, incident management, and reporting across facilities in the Philippines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in a similar EHS role within manufacturing, construction or energy.
• In-depth knowledge of OSHA standards and local environmental laws.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; keen safety risk assessment skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication to deliver training and write reports.
• Proficiency in using EHS management software and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with environmental, health and safety regulations.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of laws, codes, and standards affecting the workplace.
• Prepare and submit reports for regulatory agencies on schedule.
• Conduct safety audits and identify hazards with corrective actions.
• Assess risks from equipment, processes, or materials and implement controls.
• Develop safety protocols and emergency response plans.
• Plan and conduct EHS training programs for all employees.
• Raise awareness of safety policies through communications and events.
• Ensure employees know about PPE and safety equipment.
• Investigate accidents and near-misses, determine root causes, and recommend actions.
• Maintain incident records and coordinate drills to ensure preparedness.
• Oversee waste disposal, water and air quality monitoring for sustainability.
• Manage hazardous materials and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Maintain detailed EHS records and deliver regular management reports.
• Collaborate with departments to integrate safety into work processes.
• Advise management on EHS strategies, policies, and best practices.
