Job summary

Yamaha Motor Philippines seeks a capable maintenance planner to plan, schedule, and coordinate preventive and corrective activities across production lines. The role includes monitoring work orders, calibrating tools, and ensuring documentation for audits.

Ideal candidates will interpret technical drawings, possess basic electrical/mechanical tool skills, and have at least 1 year in a manufacturing environment. Strong MS Office skill is required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Engineering Course (ECE / EE / MEXE, IC).
• Fresh Graduate with Technical OJT experience or with at least 1-year exposure in manufacturing set-up.
• Can interpret some technical drawings and industrial parts specifications.
• Proficient in MS Office Applications.
• Can use basic electrical and mechanical tools.
• Knowledge in troubleshooting, repair and maintenance of production equipment is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Plans, schedule and coordinates preventive/corrective maintenance activities.
• Monitors and updates maintenance work orders, ensuring timely assignment, completion and proper documentation in the system.
• In-charge of calibration and preventive maintenance of tools and equipment.
• Manages spare parts inventory by monitoring stock levels, ensuring availability of critical items, and coordination with suppliers for timely replenishment.
• Plans, orders and coordinates outsourced preventive maintenance activities including scheduling, contractor mobilization, work permit processing, and performance evaluation.
• Secures and monitors contractor's work and safety permits, ensuring compliance with maintenance safety standards.
• Maintains and organizes maintenance records, checklists, reports and other documentation required for audits and continuous improvement.
• Coordinates with all related Departments/Sections to align maintenance plans, minimize production disruption.
• Responds to line calls that need facilities and maintenance support.
