We are currently seeking a qualified, technical Maintenance Planner to optimize work execution, support equipment reliability, and organize plant maintenance activities across our operational units.
The Maintenance Planner optimizes the productivity and efficiency of internal maintenance technicians, external service vendors, and contractors. You will prepare job plans, safety documentation, and resource estimates to ensure all work is executed safely, on time, and in compliance with environmental standards.
1. Maintenance Planning & Scheduling
Work Package Preparation: Develop detailed job plans for mechanical and electrical/instrumentation maintenance, complete with job scopes, step-by-step procedures, technical specifications, required tools, parts lists, and estimated downtime.
Scheduling: Create short-term and medium-term maintenance schedules, including planned outage and shutdown activities.
Work Order Management: Inspect site conditions to validate requests, manage the maintenance backlog, process work orders, and participate in daily job coordination reviews.
Materials & Spare Parts: Verify spare parts availability before releasing work orders, track critical spare inventories, and coordinate material requests with the warehouse team.
Resource Coordination: Collaborate with maintenance supervisors to align work schedules with manpower availability and external vendor services.
2. Cost Control & Budgeting
Budget Support: Assist maintenance leadership in compiling annual operational budgets and tracking maintenance costs.
Expenditure Review: Review material requisitions and assist in evaluating additional or unbudgeted job requests.
3. Continuous Improvement & Reliability Support
Troubleshooting & Analysis: Assist engineering teams in reviewing equipment failures, analyzing repeat issues, and updating preventive maintenance procedures.
Data Management: Keep machinery history, technical documentation, and bill of materials updated within the computer management system.
4. Safety & Compliance
Integrate job safety risk assessments and standard operating procedures into all job packages.
Ensure all planned maintenance activities comply with company safety policies, environmental regulations, and corporate standards.
Education: B.S. Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering graduate.
Licensure: Registered PRC Mechanical or Electrical Engineer.
Work Experience:
Minimum of five (5) years of maintenance field experience in a heavy manufacturing or continuous process plant.
At least two (2) years of experience in a supervisory or leadership capacity.
