Levanta Renewables, a renewable energy platform, seeks an Environmental and Social (ES) Manager to support wind and solar projects in the Philippines. The role interfaces with regulators, LGUs, indigenous communities, and lenders to ensure environmental and social performance across the project lifecycle.

You will oversee permitting, SIAs, SEP development, and compliance with Philippine environmental laws (ECC, EIS). Strong field experience and stakeholder diplomacy are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in environmental and/or social safeguards on infrastructure or energy projects in the Philippines.
• Hands-on experience with DENR-EMB EIS/ECC processes and regulatory submissions.
• Background in wind, solar, or large-scale construction projects in Quezon Province is a strong advantage.
• Experience engaging with Indigenous Peoples communities and NCIP processes is desirable.
• Familiarity with IFC Performance Standards or Equator Principles is an advantage for lender-financed projects.

Responsabilités

• Oversee environmental permitting and ensure ECC compliance with DENR-EMB.
• Lead Social Impact Assessments (SIAs) and stakeholder engagement.
• Coordinate with regulators and LGUs to secure permits and clearances.
• Manage land access, resettlement, and livelihood restoration when applicable.
• Deliver ES training and prepare monthly/quarterly progress reports.
• Monitor ES performance and respond to environmental and social incidents.
