Job summary

Vertex Search is seeking an ESG Manager to oversee environmental and social performance across its Philippines portfolio. The role focuses on translating ESG standards into practical implementation throughout project development, construction and operations.

Responsibilities include implementing ESG policies, ensuring IFC/Equator Principles alignment, coordinating impact assessments, overseeing stakeholder engagement, and monitoring ESG performance for lender reporting and audits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of ESG experience with hands-on project implementation experience (on-site during project phases).
• Experience applying IFC Performance Standards and/or Equator Principles to internationally financed projects.
• Experience in highly-regulated industries such as energy, infrastructure, utilities, mining or transportation.

Responsibilities

• Implement ESG policies and environmental and social management plans across renewable energy projects.
• Ensure project alignment with IFC Performance Standards, Equator Principles and applicable local requirements.
• Coordinate environmental and social impact assessments, risk mitigation and consultant deliverables.
• Oversee stakeholder engagement, community impact, grievance mechanisms and social safeguards.
• Monitor project ESG performance and KPIs, supporting lender reporting, audits and cross-functional compliance.
