Job summary

Vertex Solutions seeks a Head of Corporate Affairs and ESG to drive the Philippines office's strategy in renewable energy. You will lead governance, reporting and external engagement with regulators, communities and investors, while guiding senior leadership on strategic matters.

The role requires extensive experience in corporate affairs, ESG and communications within regulated industries and a proven ability to manage risk and reputation on a regional scale.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in corporate affairs, government relations, ESG, sustainability or communications.
• Experience in renewable energy, power, infrastructure, or highly regulated industries.
• Proven track record engaging with government agencies, regulators and communities.
• Experience developing ESG strategies and managing environmental and reputational risks.
• Knowledge of Philippine regulatory and renewable energy landscape; international ESG exposure is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Corporate Affairs, ESG & Sustainability strategy across the company’s renewable energy portfolio.
• Manage government relations, regulatory engagement and key external stakeholders, including communities, investors and industry bodies.
• Drive ESG and sustainability strategy, governance, reporting and performance across projects.
• Oversee stakeholder engagement, community relations and social impact initiatives, maintaining strong community relationships.
• Lead corporate communications, reputation management and external risk management, while advising senior leadership on strategic matters.

Requirements

• Minimum 8+ years of relevant experience in corporate affairs, government relations, stakeholder engagement, ESG, sustainability or communications.
• Strong experience within renewable energy, power, infrastructure, utilities or other highly regulated industries.
• Proven track record engaging with government agencies, regulators, communities and senior external stakeholders.
• Experience developing ESG/sustainability strategies and managing environmental, social and reputational risks.
• Strong knowledge of the Philippine regulatory and renewable energy landscape; experience with international ESG standards, project financing or E&S due diligence is an advantage.
