ACCIONA, a global leader in regenerative infrastructure, seeks an Environmental Officer for the Malolos to Clark Railway Project. The role encompasses compliance with DENR DAO and other environmental regulations, audit reporting, and coordination with project teams to implement EMS.

The officer will conduct inspections, train personnel, prepare reports, and support permits with HSE collaboration. Immediate start is preferred for candidates with PCO experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Environmental, Sanitary, Chemical, Industrial, Civil).
• DENR-EMB Accredited PCO (Category B preferred).
• 2+ years as a PCO preferred.
• Experience handling or monitoring wastewater.
• Experience submitting Self-Monitoring Reports and Compliance Monitoring Reports.
• Knowledge of environmental laws incl. PD 1586, RA 6969, RA 9003, RA 8749, RA 9275.
• Familiar with ISO 14001 EMS.
• Basic knowledge of SDS and chemical handling.
• Strong communication and attention to detail.

Responsabilités

• Conduct environmental inspections and site observations and report findings.
• Provide environmental orientations for new hires and visitors.
• Deliver internal environmental training and drills.
• Coordinate with engineers and subcontractors to ensure EMS compliance.
• Prepare environmental audit reports and track corrective actions.
• Submit SMRs, CMRs, Environmental Aspect Registers, and incident reports.
• Support public consultations and liaise with stakeholders on environmental matters.
• Assist in developing and implementing protection measures and management plans.
• Facilitate permits and clearances for air, wastewater, and hazardous waste facilities.
• Collaborate with HSE team on implementing policies.
• Maintain environmental records and monitoring data.
