ACCIONA is hiring an Environmental Officer for the Malolos to Clark Railway Project in Clark, Pampanga. The role ensures compliance with environmental laws, coordinates EMS activities, and prepares essential environmental reports for project governance.

The incumbent conducts inspections, trainings, and stakeholder consultations, while liaising with engineers and subcontractors to implement environmental protections and manage permit requirements. Immediate availability is preferred.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Environmental, Sanitary, Chemical, Industrial or Civil).
• DENR-EMB Accredited PCO is a plus; Category B is preferred.
• Over 2 years of experience as a Pollution Control Officer is preferred.
• Experience handling or monitoring wastewater is advantageous.
• Familiar with Self-Monitoring Reports and Compliance Monitoring Reports.
• Knowledge of PD1586, RA6969, RA9003, RA8749, RA9275 and related laws.
• Understanding of ISO14001 and SDS/chemical handling; strong communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct environmental inspections and site observations; document findings.
• Prepare inspection reports and monitor corrective/preventive actions.
• Deliver environmental orientations and trainings to staff and visitors.
• Coordinate with engineers and subcontractors to ensure EMS compliance.
• Prepare and submit SMRs, CMRs, and environmental reports.
• Engage in public consultations with stakeholders on environmental matters.
• Assist in developing MSs, management plans, and permit applications.
• Track environmental permits and ensure timely renewals and clearances.
• Maintain environmental records and monitoring results.
