Job summary

ACCIONA Energía in the Philippines is seeking an Environmental Officer for the Malolos to Clark Railway Project in Clark, Pampanga. The role emphasizes compliance with DENR rules, environmental management, and safety integration for a major infrastructure program.

You will conduct inspections, prepare reports, coordinate with engineers and subcontractors, manage permits, lead trainings, and support EMS implementation to deliver sustainable outcomes for the project.

Qualifications

• Bachelors in engineering with environmental focus.
• Experience as Pollution Control Officer (PCO) preferred.
• Knowledge of environmental laws (DENR DAO 2014-02, PD 1586, RA 6969/9003/8749/9275).
• Familiarity with EMS/ISO14001 and waste handling is plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct environmental inspections and site observations and document findings.
• Prepare inspection and audit reports and monitor corrective actions.
• Coordinate with engineers, area managers, and subcontractors to ensure EMS compliance.
• Prepare and submit Self-Monitoring Reports and Compliance Monitoring Reports.
• Assist in permits, clearances, and environmental protection measures.
• Participate in public consultations and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Support EMS implementation and project environmental requirements.
