Qualifications

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong record-keeping.

About the role

CDO Foodsphere, Inc. is seeking an Environment Control Officer to join our team in Malvar, Batangas. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in maintaining and monitoring environmental standards across our operations. As an Environment Control Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with environmental regulations, implementing sustainability initiatives, and maintaining optimal environmental conditions within our facilities. This role is essential to our commitment to environmental stewardship and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Leads the proper execution of all environment-related activities, projects and programs as assigned and planned by the immediate superior and/or the higher management.
• Provides strategic communication, direction and assignment to team members with regard to all environment-related activities, projects and programs including but not limited to wastewater treatment and waste management.
• Ensures that assigned tasks, projects and programs are fully accomplished, are according to established standards and are within the specified deadline.
• Monitors team performance and constantly provides guidance to team members especially on matters that are deemed critical to the environment, health and safety.
• Creates reports on environment-related activities, projects and programs as required by the immediate superior.

What we're looking for

• Must have a degree in Environmental Engineering / Sanitary Engineering / Civil Engineering / Chemical Engineering or other related/equivalent course
• Must have at least two (2) years of experience in environment, health and safety (EHS) with primary focus on wastewater treatment (activated sludge) and waste management.
• Strong knowledge of environmental regulations, standards, and compliance requirements applicable to food production facilities
