Job summary

Alternatives Food Corp in Cavite seeks a dedicated Pollution Control Officer (PCO) to lead environmental compliance, manage regulatory requirements with DENR-EMB, and drive sustainability across operations. You will oversee waste reduction, safety, and a cleaner workplace.

Responsibilities include regulatory reporting (SMRs, CMRs), permit management, monitoring plant operations, promoting environmental awareness, and using Excel for data analytics to produce clear reports and visual campaign

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Environmental, or Civil Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
DENR-EMB PCO accreditation is required.
1–2 years of experience in environmental compliance or as a Pollution Control Officer.

Responsibilities

Regulatory compliance & reporting: Ensure DENR environmental regulations are followed and submit required reports (SMRs, CMRs, etc.).
Permit management: Acquire and manage environmental permits and licenses with regulators.
Pollution control & monitoring: Monitor plant operations and waste management for safety and compliance.
Environmental initiatives: Lead programs for waste reduction, resource efficiency, and awareness.
Data analysis & communication: Use Excel to track metrics and create reports/visuals for campaigns.
