Job summary

Cybalink Solutions in Pasig City is seeking an experienced Application Support Engineer to provide Level 2 support for enterprise business applications. You will investigate and resolve issues across application, integration, and data layers, manage user access, and support releases and testing with careful ownership of tickets.

You will communicate clearly with Australian stakeholders, document runbooks and knowledge-base articles, and contribute to automation, security remediation, and process

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT/CS with 3+ years of application support experience.
• Experience with enterprise applications, including configuration, workflows, master data, reporting, user access, and permissions.
• Strong troubleshooting across application, integration, and data layers; practical SQL knowledge.
• Experience supporting APIs, interfaces, batch processes, scheduled jobs, file transfers, patches, upgrades, releases, and testing.
• Familiarity with ITSM incident, request, problem, and change-management processes; ITIL certification or equivalent experience is preferred.
• Experience with ERP, finance, project controls, maintenance, HR, or payroll applications is advantageous.
• Exposure to Power BI, SSRS, Microsoft SQL Server, or Azure technologies is desirable.
• Strong English communication, ownership, and ability to work with Australian stakeholders.
• Willing to work full-time in the office located at Arcovia, Brgy. Ugong, Pasig City (Monday-Friday, morning shift).

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 2 support for application incidents and service requests escalated by the Service Desk.
• Investigate and resolve issues across application, integration, and data layers.
• Manage assigned tickets through to resolution within agreed service levels.
• Configure applications and maintain workflows, master data, reference data, and standard reports.
• Administer user accounts, roles, and permissions following approved security procedures.
• Support joiner, mover, and leaver processes and user-access reviews.
• Monitor APIs, system interfaces, batch processes, scheduled jobs, and file transfers.
• Use SQL to investigate data issues, validate information, and perform controlled data corrections.
• Support application patches, upgrades, releases, regression testing, and user acceptance testing.
• Maintain runbooks, support documentation, and knowledge-base articles.
• Contribute to root-cause analysis, automation, security remediation, and process improvements.
• Communicate ticket progress, risks, and technical issues clearly to stakeholders.
