Job summary

LRI Chroma Asia Inc in Laguna, Philippines is seeking aMaintenance Engineer to oversee preventive maintenance planning for all manufacturing equipment and to coordinate an engineering team in a manufacturing setting.

The role involves collaboration with production and procurement, reporting on machine downtime and equipment issues, and ensuring compliance with ISO, Safety, GMP-PRPs and Food Safety standards. A degree in engineering and 1–2 years of related experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or vocational/technical course.
• 1-2 years related experience in a manufacturing company.
• Engineering license is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Department Manager in planning and scheduling the weekly and monthly preventive maintenance of all manufacturing equipment.
• Plan and schedule the preventive maintenance of all manufacturing equipment.
• Supervise and coordinate the activities of the engineering team to ensure efficient project execution.
• Coordinate with building contractor regarding building modification, issues or any concerns.
• Prepare necessary reports on machine maintenance, downtime and occurrence and of machine troubles and facility equipment.
• Collaborate with production and procurement to ensure seamless integration of engineering activities with operations.
• Monitor project progress, identify bottlenecks or issues, and take proactive measures to mitigate risks for timely completion.
• Adhere to ISO, Safety, GMP-PRPs and Food Safety practices and standards and other Departmental procedures.
• Perform other duties and functions as assigned from time to time.

• Adhere to Company rules and regulations including ISO, Safety, GMP-PRPs and Food Safety practices and standards and other Departmental procedures.

• Perform other duties and functions that may be assigned from time to time.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Graduate of any Engineering Course or Vocational/Technical Course

• With 1-2 years related experience in a manufacturing company.

• With license is an advantage.
