Job summary

Bitwarden Inc. in Noida is seeking an Engineering Manager for Onboarding & Activation to lead a team responsible for guiding users from first run to paying customers. You will own onboarding experiences, trial initiation, plan upgrades, and manage client-side subscription flows.

You will collaborate with Design, Product, and Platform teams, drive process improvements, and develop engineers through coaching and performance reviews.

Qualifications

• 10-15 years total experience with 5-8 years in engineering leadership or complex cross-functional initiatives.
• Experience in globally distributed Product Engineering or COE environments and time-zone awareness.
• Strong understanding of Agile development, modern engineering practices, and product delivery lifecycles.
• Proven ability to lead delivery across organizations and influence stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Hire, develop, and retain a strong team of engineers.
• Set and report on measurable goals and objectives for the team.
• Facilitate team ceremonies including weekly syncs, backlog refinements, retrospectives, and sprint planning.
• Own escalation and triage for production issues and enterprise customer escalations.
• Maintain a healthy backlog with bugs and tech debt alongside feature work.
• Serve as liaison between engineering and Design, Product, Architecture, and other teams.
