Job summary

SOUTHERN UNICOAST INNOVENTURE CORPORATION, General Santos, seeks an experienced Engineering Manager to lead the engineering team, oversee equipment performance, maintenance planning, and project execution.

You will guide CAD operations, drive continuous improvement, ensure safety and quality, and mentor engineers while coordinating with other departments to meet production goals. A mechanical or electrical engineering degree with five years in a senior role is expected.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree (Mechanical or Electrical)
• Five+ years in a senior role
• Analytical ability with knowledge of machine operations (boiler, seamer machines, retort vessels)
• Strong project management, preventive maintenance, and resource conservation skills
• Proficient in CAD operations and MS software
• Keen attention to detail and reporting skills

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage engineering projects from conception to completion within timelines and budgets.
• Implement preventive maintenance programs to maximize equipment uptime and longevity.
• Optimize resource utilization and conservation across engineering operations.
• Manage CAD operations to support engineering projects and initiatives.
• Lead and mentor the engineering team, driving continuous improvement and excellence.
• Develop and deliver training programs to enhance team skills and knowledge.
• Ensure safety and quality compliance with company standards.
• Prepare reports and presentations on engineering activities for senior management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project requirements and business objectives.
