Job summary

SOUTHERN UNICOAST INNOVENTURE CORPORATION, General Santos, seeks an experienced Engineering Manager to lead the engineering team, oversee equipment performance, maintenance planning, and project execution.

You will guide CAD operations, drive continuous improvement, ensure safety and quality, and mentor engineers while coordinating with other departments to meet production goals. A mechanical or electrical engineering degree with five years in a senior role is expected.

• Five+ years in a senior role
• Analytical ability with knowledge of machine operations (boiler, seamer machines, retort vessels)
• Strong project management, preventive maintenance, and resource conservation skills
• Proficient in CAD operations and MS software
• Keen attention to detail and reporting skills

Responsibilities:

Technical Expertise:

• Utilize strong analytical abilities and extensive knowledge in machine operations, specifically with boiler, seamer machines, and retort vessels.
• Provide technical guidance and support to ensure optimal performance and reliability of equipment.

Project and Operations Management:

• Lead and manage engineering projects from conception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
• Implement preventive maintenance programs to maximize equipment uptime and longevity.
• Optimize resource utilization and conservation strategies within engineering operations.

CAD Operations and Design:

• Proficiently manage CAD operations and utilize design software to support engineering projects and initiatives.

Leadership and Team Development:

• Lead and mentor the engineering team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.
• Develop and implement training programs to enhance team skills and knowledge.

Quality Assurance and Compliance:

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards in all engineering activities.
• Implement quality assurance processes to maintain high standards of engineering performance and reliability.

Analytical and Reporting Skills:

• Utilize strong analytical and reporting skills to monitor and evaluate engineering performance.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Graduate of Engineering Course, preferably Mechanical or Electrical
• At least Five Years experience in a senior position
• Possesses analytical ability and thorough working knowledge in machine operations such as boiler, seamer machines and retort vessels
• Excellent in jobs management skills (Project management, preventive maintenance, resources conservation)
• Knowledgeable with CAD Operations
• Keen Sense of Detail
• Good Analytical & Reporting Skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Software
