Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily mechanical operations and maintenance activities to ensure optimal performance of equipment and systems.
• Lead, train, and develop a team of mechanical technicians and engineers, providing guidance and performance feedback.
• Plan and schedule preventive maintenance programmes to minimise equipment downtime and extend asset lifespan.
• Conduct regular inspections of mechanical systems and equipment to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure all mechanical work complies with health and safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
• Prepare and manage maintenance budgets, track expenditures, and optimise resource allocation.
• Troubleshoot complex mechanical problems and provide technical solutions to operational challenges.
• Liaise with other departments to coordinate mechanical support for projects and operational needs.
• Document maintenance records, work orders, and performance metrics for compliance and analysis.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs.

About the role

One Outsource Direct Corporation is seeking a talented and experienced Mechanical Supervisor to join our Engineering team in Manila City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time position that offers a strategic opportunity to lead and oversee mechanical operations within our organisation. As a Mechanical Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency, safety, and quality of mechanical systems and processes. You will be responsible for managing teams, coordinating maintenance activities, and ensuring all operations comply with industry standards and company policies. This position is integral to our engineering division and directly impacts our operational excellence and project delivery.

What you'll be doing

What we're looking for

1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent professional qualification
2. Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical maintenance, operations, or a related engineering field
3. Proven supervisory or team leadership experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment
4. Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, equipment operation, and maintenance best practices
5. Proficiency in preventive and predictive maintenance techniques
6. Excellent problem-solving skills and technical troubleshooting capabilities
7. Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations and standards
8. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across teams
9. Competency in maintenance management software and technical documentation systems
10. Valid driver's licence (preferred)
11. Professional certifications in mechanical engineering or supervisory management (advantageous)
