Job summary

KBR, Inc in the Philippines is seeking an Engineering Lead Generator Mechanic to install, operate, maintain, and repair electrical equipment and systems in support of the Marine Corps Prepositioning Program - Philippines (MCPP-PHIL). The role reports to the MCPP-PHIL Engineering Maintenance Supervisor.

Responsibilities include planning, coordinating preventive maintenance, reviewing invoices, maintaining inventory, ensuring safety and compliance, and providing guidance on fuel system

Qualifications

• Associate degree or coursework towards a BS degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
• Four years of progressive experience with maintenance and logistic support activities involving generator systems maintenance.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Must possess a valid state Driver's License.
• Must possess or be able to obtain a U.S. Passport.
• Must be able to obtain work visa and Alien Employment Permit for the Philippines.
• Able to pass FBI Background investigation with no criminal, civil, or security violations.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and execute maintenance for MCPP-PHIL and Organic equipment.
• Perform maintenance actions involving repairing, adjusting, servicing, and storing electrical equipment and systems.
• Support equipment readiness and maintenance shop organization.
• Review invoices and requisitions to plan work activities.
• Inventory repair parts and requisition replacement stock.
• Provide requisitions for equipment, materials, and supplies.
• Adhere to safety regulations and established procedures.
• Interpret specifications, drawings, and work orders.
